These Terms govern your use of the Cinderveil website, its games, community features, ranking systems, coven tools, and all content made available through the platform. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
Cinderveil is a free social entertainment platform. Every game played on this platform uses points only. Points are virtual, have no monetary value whatsoever, and cannot under any circumstances be redeemed, exchanged, transferred, sold, or converted into real currency, goods, prizes, or any other real-world benefit. No purchase is ever necessary to participate. No payment of any kind unlocks a gameplay advantage. The platform exists solely to entertain, and all outcomes are generated for entertainment purposes only. If you are looking for real-money gambling, Cinderveil is not that platform.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Cinderveil. By registering, you confirm this is true and understand that misrepresenting your age is a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility. You may not create more than one account per person, share your account with another individual, or use automated tools to interact with the platform. Accounts used in breach of these rules are subject to suspension or permanent removal without prior notice.
Cinderveil is a community space, and the atmosphere we have built depends on everyone in it. The following conduct is strictly prohibited across all platform areas including gameplay, chat, and coven spaces.
Violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban at our sole discretion. We do not negotiate account bans resulting from serious misconduct.
All content on Cinderveil — including the visual design, written copy, card artwork, table themes, coven iconography, the Cinderveil name and logo, and all software underlying the platform — is the exclusive property of Cinderveil or its licensed contributors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify, or create derivative works from any platform content without written permission. Your display name and any content you post in community spaces remains yours, but by posting it you grant Cinderveil a non-exclusive licence to display it within the platform.
Cinderveil is provided on an as-is basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cinderveil shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the platform — which, since Cinderveil is free, is zero.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Cinderveil shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Quebec.
